Crazy Night at Awana

Postby LelandAcker on 2009 Apr 29 Wed 9:59 am

None of our core families showed up last night at Awana, but we still had 16 in attendance as we had repeat visitors and some first time visitors. One of the first-timers was in my class, and demonstrated a good knowledge of the Bible. The student in question was in the second grade, attended Awana at another church when she was younger, but due to family moves, had not been to Awana in 2 years. That would have put her last day in Awana back when she was in Kindergarten. I was impressed.

Grace Pointe MBM will move into her building in June, but will maintain programs at the apartment complexes. Things are kind of crazy with the transition, a little turnover with core families, and new people coming in. This is exciting.
