"Fireproof" the movie

If you have not seen "fireproof" I would highly recommend it. We are showing it at our church this Sunday Night and have been advertising it in our community. If you do not charge to see the movie you can show it to church groups. The movie is highly evangelistic and emphasizes the need to know the love of God personally before you can love your mate the way God intended. It is powerful and can be used as an evangelistic tool. The same can be said for other movies such as "Passion of the Christ" and the "Narnia" movies. We have not shown the "Narnia" movies at our church but we have shown "Passion of the Christ" and saw professions of faith.
I believe that the Church is not the 4th Person of the Godhead, that there is no "Immaculate Translation", that every believer is authorized to share the gospel....Yes I'm still a Landmarker!

Fireproof is a movie done by some Baptist Church in Georgia (I do not know if it is a scriptural assembly or not). they are the same ones I believe that did the movie "Facing the Giants". If Fireproof is of the calibre of Facing the Giants then it is worth watching. I don't know about doing it in Church but the women of our assembly had a ladies bible study and watched it then.

How in the World do you go from someone watching a movie to the conclusion that "I guess Gods Word won't do it"?

The movie actually shares Gods Word and if you show the movie then you are sharing Gods Word. I have heard people preach and snort and spit and scream and yell passionately from behind a good ole LMBC pulpit for an hour that didn't share as much of Gods Word as this movie!

Wow!
