Just wanted to mention to everyone that we now have ads on the site. This is a move by the hosting company to keep this free for us. There are subscription fees that we can pay to remove the ads, and there are also levels of service. If you are interested in removing the ads, you can donate to the community chest.

One of the reasons we selected this medium is the ease of use and the lack of overwhelming ads. Some of the sites we reviewed had several ad formats to bother visitors. Please bear with this as a stipulation to have this medium.

Also, I have been very busy at the church the last couple of months, so I have not been as active on the discussions. However, overall, I have been happy with the civility present on the forums. Please maintain this. I know how easy it is to let our emotions get the best of us. Because of the kind of forum this is, I do not feel that a heavy hand of moderation is required. So far, this has been the case. If we receive enough reports that violations of civility are transpiring, we will make the moves to increase the number of moderators in the forums, and get more organized in policing the site.

This site is webcrawled, and searchable. We must remember that what we say here on the site is a reflection of Baptists as a whole. Several different churches from several fellowships are represented here, and we ought to seek to represent ourselves in a Christlike fashion.

Continue to have fun, and this site ought to be used as a tool to sharpen our doctrinal integrity.
