Mission: Brownwood experiences initial success

This is designed to be a more "interactive" way to post missionary reports. Here, missionaries may post their report, and respond to specific questions related to their ministry.

Mission: Brownwood experiences initial success

You can read the "official" Mission: Brownwood report at http://www.ABANews.info, or http://www.lelandacker.blogspot.com.

We had 16 in services yesterday morning, and the group we have is excited and enthusiastic about starting midweek services and youth Bible clubs. In fact, I have already secured the facility for that purpose.

On the financial end, we took in more than $300 in offerings two weekends ago, $200 yesterday. Our bank balance is doing well since we have no overhead. In the weeks ahead, though, I plan to line out a mission program and a youth program.

Thank you for your prayers and support.

Nope. My address is still the same. Not sure why your email got returned... email does funny things sometimes. Try it again.

We have six members and a 7th awaiting Baptism, all added on Nov. 30. We have one lady who attends and want sto help evangelize, but has told me she's a short-termer. She'll be going to another church where she has family in the ministry.
