Perhaps the most widely accepted and proveable law in the scientific world is the second law of thermodynamics. In common terms this law states that all things are in a downward spiral. Energy consistently degenerates to base heat. Matter consistently decays. There is nothing that is in an upward spiral yet that is exactly what is absolutely necessary for the evolution of species to exist. Thus, science itself condemns the THEORY of evolution of species by its most well know and proveable law. Interesting isn't it?
However, I must be quick to state that there is one thing in this world that defies the 2nd law of thermodynamics: the born-again spirit of man. Why? Because it is renewed day by day, II Cor. 4:16. Amen!

W.A., I agrued this same point with a few atheists on another forum, and I also showed them that Atheism is unaffirmable and therefore meaningless as a worldview.
I think of II Corinthians 4:16 often!

Yes sir! That is a great scripture, apologetician. Did you have any luck dealing with athiests using the second law of thermodynamics argument?
