Schrock Family Prayer Letter
Missionaries To Romania

Back In The States

Three months, twelve states, 10,000 miles, 29 churches and countless dirty diapers later, we find ourselves well into our return trip to the States. It has been quite an adventure, but God has blessed and we are looking forward to returning to Romania.

On The Road

We returned to the States the 16th of October. For the first two months we have been able to visit churches in Michigan and Indiana. This was a great time especially because we were able to stay with my parents during the week and then travel on the weekends to the churches. This gave my parents time to spend with Ruthie and for her to get to know her grandparents.

We were able to keep a full schedule of churches in Michigan and Indiana and our prayer is that God would add more support through those churches.

We were also able to visit my sisters in Florida for Thanksgiving. This was the first time we had seen my sister’s daughter, so it was a fun trip.

On The Road Again

In December, we moved to Illinois for three weeks. Once again we were able to stay with family as my grandparents opened their home to us. Again we had a full schedule especially on the 16th when we drove from Chicago to St. Louis in the afternoon, just making it to the church before service started. All in all though, God blessed and we thank Him for the new churches and people we met there.

A White Christmas
We headed back to Michigan and my parents on the 23rd after the evening service in Peoria, Illinois. It was officially Christmas Eve when we got there and as we had hoped, there was snow on the ground. Christmas was especially fun as this was the first Christmas that Ruthie was old enough to enjoy everything. She loved all the present, hers, mine, Mommy’s, and her grandparent’s. But she loved the wrapping paper best of all. Next year, I’m just getting her a big box full of wrapping paper and tape.

On The Road Some More
To start the new year we have made a trip back to our home church in West Virginia. It has been great to see everyone here and to spend time with friends.

We leave this weekend for Missouri where we have a month’s worth of meetings planned. We are still looking to fill appointments after that. If you are interesting in having us visit and share our ministry in Romania, please contact our pastor, Pastor Withem, at the phone number below. We would love to visit you.

Romania
One of hardest parts of being back in the States is leaving the work in Romania. Of course, God has a plan and we trust Him to bless in our absence. From all reports we have received, things are good in Romania. Our youth group just went on a mountain retreat over New Year’s. A good group came and we are excited about that. Continue to pray for the work in Romania.

Thank You
We want to send a big thank you to all of you who have prayed for us. And as always, we both thank all of you for your support, both financial and in prayer. May God bless each of you greatly.

Your Missionaries In Romania,
Eric, Lili & Ruthie Schrock
