Researching!

I don't intend this to be a thread on the merits or demerits of researching.

Does anyone know where you can find statistics or information that show where in America people are most open to the gospel and yet the least gospelized?

I am not looking for cultural or sub-cultural people groups but rather locations. Thanks
I believe that the Church is not the 4th Person of the Godhead, that there is no "Immaculate Translation", that every believer is authorized to share the gospel....Yes I'm still a Landmarker!

I think the SBC has resources like this, but I don't know where to point you online to find this info. You might try stopping by your local SBC district, area, or local association office. These offices are usually staffed by fulltime missionaries who share resources like this, not only with SBC churches, but with all Baptists who ask for help.

This brings something to mind. In radio, we do a lot of consumer research, both man-on-the-street research interviews, and focus group research. What do you think of this type of research? I'm kind of curious as to how unchurched people view us, and whether our assumptions of their views are accurate.

Thanks brother Acker!

I was wondering about among Landmark Baptists.....where are we seeing people most open to the gospel and yet the least gospelized?

Or is it kind of like global warming....we really don't have enough works and data to know?

Global warming is not caused by carbon emissions from man-made technology, and most Americans with higher education know this. When I was on the college debate circuit, I routinely watch brilliant minds from universities like Rice and Vanderbilt take apart the global warming and carbon emissions case piece by piece. The oceans emit more carbon than mankind could ever dream of. Al Gore was right, the debate is over... too bad Congress and the media won't tell him who won. (Sorry, pet issue. I agree with environmental conservation, but not environmentalism).

Back on topic. I'm not sure there is a Landmark Baptist organization that has the data you are requesting. If you find it, will you share?
