2009 JAMAICA MISSION TRIP REPORT
July 17-25, 2009
August 2, 2009

Dear Brothers and Sisters In Christ,

Praise the Lord for a wonderful Vacation Bible School with Burnt Ground Missionary Baptist Church, Santa Cruz, Jamaica. The average attendance for the week was 59 with a high of 68 on Wednesday. There were three teens who made professions of faith in Christ as their personal Savior.

This year we had three classes and a team of six teachers and helpers. Missionary Joe Roberts was our van driver and guide throughout the week (missionary in Jamaica for about seven years). Brother Stacy Ervin (missionary in Woodbine, GA) taught the Teen Class. Sister Jodie McDonald (member of Grace MBC, Auburn, GA, and second grade teacher) taught the Primary/Junior Class. Sister Frances Arnheiter taught the Pre-school/Beginner Class. I helped Frances in her class. And, Brother Brad Gauthier (member of Grace MBC, Auburn) was our photographer and assisted in the Primary/Junior Class. The Team is to be commended for a job well done. We all had a joyful and blessed time serving the Lord in Jamaica.

Thank the Lord for the work of the members of the Burnt Ground MBC. Sister LaVerne McLaughlin made sure the VBS was advertised, prepared refreshments, and cooked meals for the Team each day. Troy McLaughlin helped with the cooking and clean-up and assisted in classes. Other members helped with the cooking as well. All are commended for a great job.

Thank you all for the Love Offerings toward the 2009 Jamaica Mission Trip. Frances and I received a total of $1,743.88 in love offerings. Thus far, the expenses for the trip totaled $2,453.15. This does not include the expenses of the other team members. Thank you for your prayers.

Please continue to pray for the churches and people of Jamaica.

Love In Christ,
Richard Arnheiter
